Realm is a minimalist cafe and restaurant located about 45 minutes to an hour outside the city in Salaya. It’s a nice change of pace because it has a lot of open space and massive glass windows that let in a ton of natural light. It was started by a chef from MasterChef UK, so the drinks are solid and it feels a bit more premium than your typical roadside stop.

The real draw for a group is the huge parking lot out back. It definitely gets hot, but there are some high walls and shaded areas where you can escape the sun while still keeping an eye on the cars. I even saw some people bring their own umbrellas so they could hang out in the middle of the lot.

It has a really good, friendly vibe. It’s the kind of place where you meet up with friends for a drink, check out some nice rides, and still have the whole day ahead of you for a drive.
