Das Treffen X – Porsche Car Meet in Bangkok | Impact Speedway

I went to Das Treffen X in Bangkok in December 2025. I’d heard about it for a while but didn’t really know what to expect, so this is my experience going and what stood out to me.

What is DAS Treffen X?

Das Treffen X is a Porsche community event and one of the biggest Porsche gatherings in Southeast Asia.

In 2025, it celebrated its 10th anniversary at Impact Speed Park, which is what the X stands for.

What is Impact Speed Park?

Impact Speed Park is a purpose-built outdoor karting facility near Don Mueang Airport and the immigration area in Laksi.

It has a world-class track, with both electric and gas karts for all skill levels.

Why I Went

I decided to go that day because I’d heard about this car event for a while and wanted to finally check it out. It was also a chance for me to see Impact Speed Park for the first time. In general, I’d like to know more about cars in Thailand.

Blue Porsche

I really had no idea what to expect, but you can see the scale of it for yourself in my video below. I’d seen some pictures before, so I knew there would be Porsches and a big area, but I didn’t know how big. It turned out to be better than I expected, and the whole event was really well done.

Getting There

Taxi Ride From Central Bangkok

I actually didn’t know the area that well, since I’d never been there before. It was about a 45-minute taxi ride from the Bangkok city center area.

Public Transportation Back

The BTS Skytrain was a good option for the return trip. From the event, it was fairly straightforward to get back to the Asok and Phrom Phong area with just one or two transfers. I took the BTS around 9:30 p.m., which was my first time taking that specific line, and it was a smooth experience.

Timing

They were open from 3 to 9 p.m. on a Sunday. I arrived kind of late, probably around 6:30 p.m. The nice thing about that was that the sun had gone down, so it was cooler, although it would have been nice to be there during the daytime too.

I’m not sure if I would have wanted to get there right at 3. Maybe. The only downside was that it conflicted with Wonderfruit, which was the reason I ended up late. I was coming from the festival, and it was held during the same weekend. I stayed for about two hours, but I would have liked to stay longer.

First Impressions

The car meet itself was great. There was food, various vendors, and lots of different cars. There were left-hand drive cars, right-hand drive cars, old ones, and new ones. Really good vibes overall. Everyone was having a good time, and there was good music playing.

They also had mini car toys for sale right at the entrance.

Walking the Event

I walked the whole event. I didn’t end up getting any food or anything like that. I mostly just checked out the cars and chatted with a few people.

Porsche 1 Racing

There was some kind of autocross setup in the back, an actual autocross course, but I didn’t get a chance to take a close look at it.

There was also a spot where people could take pictures in front of the sign with their Porsche.

Porsche Thailand’s Setup

Porsche Thailand was there. They had their own setup, not really a booth, but more like their own building. You could buy various Porsche memorabilia and items. There were videos playing, Porsche flags, and that kind of thing.

Das Treffen Cost

The event was free, with no need to buy tickets. I registered in advance on the IG page, but nobody asked me about it at the door.

People I Met

I ran into some guys I’d met before at the Rising Sunday car meet, which was cool, and we chatted for a bit. I also saw a stand for that Porsche café Curvistan that I’ve written about.

Everybody was really friendly. I talked to a few guys from Bilstein and BBS, who have related companies here and do installs in Thailand. They were really helpful.

I talked to them about buying a car here, what a good starter Porsche in Thailand might be, what some other fun car options are, and where to go. They were great to talk to.

Cars That Stood Out

What surprised me the most was how nice the cars were. They were really well done, and the event itself was also very well done. It felt professional, clean, organized, and genuinely fun.

A few cars stood out. They had a really old Porsche, I think it was a 356 1500 Super, which was cool to see.

And then there was the Christmas light Porsche, that one was great.

How It Compared to Rising Sunday

Compared to Rising Sunday, which has a really great community and fun cars, the vibe was different. Everybody seemed to be having a great time at both events.

Rising Sunday has a mix of different cars, with some Porsches mixed in. This event was almost all Porsches. It felt more professional, while Rising Sunday felt more casual. Both were really well done, just different vibes.

Overall

It was definitely worth going. I’m happy I went, and I’d recommend it to anyone who’s interested in cars or Porsches. I’ll go again next year.

I’m planning to go to Bimmermeet in 2026 at the same place, so I’ll try going earlier for that event.
