Bimmermeet - Asia’s Biggest Annual BMW Meet (+Monthly Sunday Drives)

Bimmermeet

Bimmermeet is Thailand’s largest BMW and MINI community based in Bangkok. Annual gatherings, monthly Sunday drives, and track days for all BMW and MINI owners.

Bimmermeet

Bimmermeet is Asia's biggest BMW community, based in Thailand. It started as a magazine and has grown into a full event platform that runs monthly Sunday drives, annual gatherings, and track days for BMW enthusiasts across the country.

The brand is built around the BMW ownership experience in Thailand, covering everything from weekend cruises to full track day programs at Thailand Circuit and other tracks.

The community is active year-round. Between the monthly drives and annual events, there is almost always something on the Bimmermeet calendar for BMW owners in Thailand.

What Happens at the Bimmermeet Annual Gathering?

Bimmermeet's flagship event is the annual gathering, typically held at a large venue like Pathumthani Speedway. Hundreds of BMWs from across Thailand converge for a full day of car displays, competitions, and community activities.

The builds range from bone-stock daily drivers to heavily modified track cars. E30s, E36s, E46s, and modern M cars all share the space. The annual gathering is the one time each year when the full Thai BMW community comes together in one place.

Awards are given across multiple categories, and the quality of builds on display has grown steadily each year. The event also features vendor booths from BMW specialists, aftermarket parts companies, and automotive lifestyle brands.

What Are the Monthly Bimmermeet Drives Like?

Bimmermeet runs monthly Sunday morning drives. The group meets at a set location, drives a scenic route, and stops for coffee or lunch at the destination. Routes change each month, and the drives are open to any BMW owner.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Newer members often join through the monthly drives before committing to the bigger annual events.

The group also organizes track days where members can push their cars on a proper circuit in a controlled environment. Track days are held at venues like Thailand Circuit and occasionally at Kaeng Krachan Circuit.

The drives are a good way to explore roads outside Bangkok that you might not find on your own. Routes often pass through scenic countryside, and the convoy of BMWs turning heads along the way is part of the fun.

What Cars Show Up at Bimmermeet?

Everything BMW. Classic E30 touring cars, flat-six enthusiasts who also own BMWs, M3s from every generation, 1 Series hatchbacks, and modern M Performance models all show up. Thailand has a strong BMW community, and Bimmermeet is the hub.

The diversity is part of the appeal. You will see daily drivers next to track-prepped cars, and owners who wrench on their own builds next to collectors with pristine showroom pieces.
