Das Treffen
Das Treffen is Southeast Asia's largest annual Porsche gathering, held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The name means "The Meeting" in German, and the concept was conceived as a way for Porsche enthusiasts across the region to come together and share their passion for the brand.
What began as a small meetup among friends has evolved over ten years into one of the most anticipated days on the Bangkok car calendar.
Organized in partnership with Porsche Thailand, the annual gathering brings together hundreds of people from Thailand, Singapore, and beyond.
Enthusiasts have flown in from across Southeast Asia to be present for a full day of car culture, food, community, and celebration.
It has built a reputation as the region's key Porsche gathering, and each year it continues to grow in response to the community's passion.
How It All Began
The gathering began when a group of pioneers in Bangkok's Porsche community wanted to create something that went beyond a typical car show.
Their vision was to build a casual gathering where owners and enthusiasts could share stories, display their cars, and celebrate the heritage of the Porsche brand together.
As interest grew, the scope expanded.
Over the years, it evolved from a parking lot meetup into a large scale production with themed zones, a Porsche hospitality village, Gymkhana time trials, a Kids' Driving School, and racing simulators.
Today, the gathering draws enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds, united by a love for Stuttgart's most iconic marque.
What Cars Show Up at Das Treffen?
One of the keys to this gathering is the incredible range of Porsches on show.
You will find everything from air cooled cars like the 964 and classic 911s to the latest performance cars including the GT3 and 911 Turbo.
GT Porsche Thailand enthusiasts turn out in force, and it is not uncommon to see rare heritage cars alongside modern e hybrid coupé models like the 918 Spyder.
Porsche has a racing heritage that few brands can match, with four consecutive overall victories at Le Mans among its most famous achievements.
That motorsport DNA is present at every gathering, from the Sport Classics to the modern 992 generation cars and beyond.
Visitors also discover exclusive merchandise, Porsche museum collectibles, and other brand memorabilia throughout the day.
The Annual Celebration
The 10th anniversary edition (Das Treffen X) took place in December 2025 at Impact Speed Park in Bangkok.
The day featured urban adventure elements, live entertainment, and an evening program that ran well past sunset.
For many enthusiasts, the combination of cars, food, and community creates an experience unlike anything else in the region.
Each edition is designed to create lasting memories for people who share a passion for Porsche.
Whether you are a first time visitor or someone who has attended every year, the atmosphere welcomes everyone.
Bangkok itself adds to the adventure, with the city's energy and vibrant car scene creating the perfect backdrop for a day with friends and fellow enthusiasts.
The future of these gatherings looks bright as the community continues to grow.
Monthly Coffee and BBQ Meetups
Beyond the flagship annual gathering, the organizers host monthly Coffee x BBQ sessions at Das Haus BKK in the Bangna area of Bangkok.
These casual gatherings offer a relaxed way to connect with the local Porsche community throughout the year and share the experience of Bangkok's car culture on a more personal level.
The morning session runs from 8:00 to 11:00 AM and features a casual drive followed by coffee. The evening session picks up from 3:00 to 9:00 PM with a BBQ experience.
Expect to see everything from classic cars to modern performance machines. Enthusiasts come from across Bangkok, and the vibe is welcoming whether you own a Porsche or simply love Porsches.
If you are visiting Bangkok and want to experience Thai car culture firsthand, attending one of these meetups is one of the best ways to do it.
The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is great, and the cars are incredible. For another Porsche focused venue in the city, check out Curvistan Bangkok, which hosts its own regular community events.
