Those records are more useful than a broad “supports Porsche” claim. A listed control unit still does not guarantee every coding or service function. Software version, module variant, and vehicle configuration can change the result.

The same page listed a two-year standard hardware warranty. Buyers using an older pre-1996 round Porsche connector need extra care. OBDTester says it does not supply that adapter and cannot guarantee full function through a third-party adapter.
