What Is IMPACT Muang Thong Thani?
IMPACT Muang Thong Thani is the largest exhibition and convention center in Thailand, located in the Muang Thong Thani township in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi province. Managed by IMPACT Exhibition Management, the complex spans over 140,000 square metres of indoor event space and hosts everything from international trade shows to massive concerts. What Facilities Does the Complex Have?
The complex contains several distinct venues. IMPACT Challenger is the main exhibition space, comprising three connected exhibition halls totaling over 60,000 square metres. IMPACT Forum handles conferences and mid size events. IMPACT Arena is a 12,000 seat concert venue that has hosted artists including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Beyonce. The Thunder Dome serves as an additional performance and sporting space. A Novotel hotel sits on the grounds for overnight convenience, and the capacity of the combined facilities allows multiple large events to run simultaneously.
What Car Events Happen Here?
This is the home of Thailand's headline automotive shows. The Bangkok International Motor Show, Bangkok Auto Salon, XO Autosport, and IMPACT Speed Classic all take place in the Challenger Hall. New car launches, aftermarket parts exhibitions, and live demonstrations fill the calendar from January through December. Between the major shows, consumer expos, food festivals, and smaller automotive meets keep the space active year round.
How Do I Get There?
The complex is located approximately 30 minutes north of central Bangkok via the expressway. During major events, shuttle buses connect to nearby BTS stations. The IMPACT Speed Park go kart track sits on the lakeside within the grounds, making it possible to combine an exhibition visit with some racing.
