Skyline & GT-R Day
Skyline & GT-R Day is a one-day car meet dedicated to the Nissan Skyline and GT-R, held on the River Park terrace on the G floor of ICONSIAM in Bangkok. It runs as the headline gathering of the XO Special Meet, the real-metal side of the Thailand Diecast Expo weekend, and is organized by Grand Prix International, the company behind the Bangkok International Motor Show and XO Autosport.
The meet pairs a serious car show with a riverside setting most Bangkok meets cannot touch. River Park sits right on the Chao Phraya, so the cars line up against the water and the Bangkok skyline. Expect a strong showing of R32, R33 and R34 Skylines alongside R35 GT-Rs, from clean stock examples to full Top Secret and tuner builds.
When and Where Is Skyline & GT-R Day?
Skyline & GT-R Day takes place on Saturday 11 July 2026 at River Park on the G floor of ICONSIAM, 299 Charoen Nakhon Road, Khlong San, Bangkok. The venue is easy to reach by BTS Gold Line, the river shuttle, or the ICONSIAM ferry from Sathorn. Exact meet hours are announced on the organizer's social channels closer to the date.
It is the first of a two-day JDM weekend. Rotary Day follows on Sunday 12 July, swapping the GT-Rs for rotary-powered Mazdas.
What Cars Show Up at Skyline & GT-R Day?
The focus is squarely on Nissan's hero cars. The classic Skyline GT-R generations draw the biggest crowds, with R34s in particular pulling people in. Alongside them you get R35 GT-Rs, tuned and stock, plus a scattering of other Nissan performance cars from owners who come out for the brand.
Because it runs under the XO Special Meet banner, the standard of the cars is high. This is closer to a curated show than a casual cars-and-coffee, so the builds tend to be finished, detailed, and worth a close look.
Skyline & GT-R Day and the Thailand Diecast Expo
The meet runs alongside the Thailand Diecast Expo inside ICONSIAM, so a single trip covers both the real cars at River Park and the country's largest diecast and scale-model exhibition indoors. If you are into 1:64 GT-Rs as much as the real thing, this is the weekend for it.
